South galaxy G7 is a rugged and versatile multi-GNSS RTK receiver with built-in IMU. It can provide coordinates down to centimeters in RTK mode. RTK mode requires a pair of receivers: one is stationary which provides corrections, another one moving which applies corrections and provides its precise coordinates.
south Galaxy G7 receiver features a 1598 channels GNSS receiver board. Alongside a VRS RTK subscription from an RTK network, the Galaxy G7 GPS receiver can ensure centimeter accuracy in real-time. Since the receiver supports Galileo, BDS (Beidou), GPS, Glonass, SBAS, IRNSS and QZSS satellite constellations, it can provide a high level of GNSS accuracy, even in harsh conditions.
Galaxy G7 Built-in IMU compensator, correct the coordinates according to the tilt direction and angle of the centering rod automatically within 60°, assist you quickly and accurately survey or stake out points without levelling the pole, error less than 3cm within 45° inclination, improve working efficiency by 20%.

South Galaxy G7 Product Review
Outstanding GNSS performance
Equipped with new generation the most powerful GNSS RTK engine with 1598 channels, G7 can track signal from all constellations including B3 signal of BDS satellites. Its high-performance GNSS antenna is upgraded with strong anti-interference ability and sensitive satellite signal capture ability, to track more satellite in harsh environments. system is much higher; it can be adapted to the job of longer uninterrupted power.
Ultimate portability
Highly integrated GNSS antenna, Bluetooth module and WIFI module, leading the design trend of miniaturization, light weight, and portable RTK to a new height. Magnesium alloy housing, tough line design, more delicate surface decoration, stronger sense of technological design, more durable.
Innovative design
Single button boot design, one button evokes all RTK operations. The body screen adopts a translucent high-strength panel, which has a stronger visual sense of technology. Plus, four indicator lights, common information is clear at a glance. Double speaker design, three-dimensional sound broadcast, remove noise barriers, and receive clearer sound.
Long range radio link
Built-in transceiver integrated radio, working frequency 410-470MHz. TrimTalk450S, TrimMark3, SOUTH,CHC,SATEL, HI-TARGET are all compatible. Equipped with Far-Link “Simultaneous” radio module, based on Farlink protocol, it can increase the sensitivity and efficiency of radio signal, achieve the typical working range as 5KM operation, and meet the needs of customers for small and medium- scale.
Barrier- free measurement
Built-in 6800mAh high-capacity battery, the battery life is more than 10 hours, one charge, meets all-day work. Equipped with fast charging charger, which can be fully charged within 5 hours. The battery core can be recharged with long life, and performance is more secure and reliable.
IMU survey
Built-in IMU compensator, correct the coordinates according to the tilt direction and angle of the centering rod automatically within 60°,
assist you quickly and accurately survey or stake out points without levelling the pole, improve working efficiency by 20%.
The BDS-3 navigation satellites system has been completed for one year. Now SOUTH has released new GNSS products to fully support BDS-3 constellation, here are some improvements on the new products.
Tracking more satellites
We tested the new SoC GNSS board receiver in Guangzhou, China. The receiver tracks more than 50 satellites: 9 GPS, 7 GLONASS, 6 GALILEO, 3 QZSS and 25 BDS (12 of them are BDS-2, 13 of them are BDS-3). More satellites in the sky will make GNSS receivers get signals easier and faster. SOUTH new SoC GNSS board has fully supported BDS-3 satellites, so the receiver performance in the field has been greatly improved.
Supporting the new signal band of BDS-3
The BDS-3 constellation has three open service signals: B1C, B2a and B2b (B2b signal provides the PPP service), SOUTH SoC GNSS board receivers can track and use all of them at the same time. The above picture shows the N/E/H errors on different testing: the errors declined with more BDS-3 satellites being used.
Fixed with QZSS+GPS+GLONASS+GALILEO+BDS
Integrated with the SoC GNSS board and low-profile antenna, SOUTH new GNSS receivers even can track and use QZSS to improve the accuracy, so you may find that the receiver Fixed with QZSS+GPS+GLONASS+GALILEO+BDS.
Getting Fix faster and stably
To transfer the massive differential data flow caused by more and more satellites in the sky, the exclusive “Farlink” protocol on SOUTH new internal radio module has a larger bandwidth, to make GNSS receivers get fix faster and stably. Normally, in urban area, the new radio can transfer 2-5km at power 1W, in suburban district the distance could reach 8km.
